J. Koski Company (JKC) is a specialty contractor that offers an array of services to the pipeline and energy transmission industries. Since 2005, we have safely completed many successful projects including right of way (ROW) clearing, timber mat hauling and placement, storage yard construction, ROW restorations, and material and equipment transportation.

Matt Ruskosky: Construction Manager
Matt began his career in the oil and gas pipeline and underground utilities field in 1997 as a Laborer and ascended to the role of Superintendent. In 2007, he left the Contractor side of the industry and began a new adventure as a Company Representative and Construction Manager overseeing the construction of multiple large diameter cross country pipelines throughout the U.S. Matt joined JKC as Manager of Construction Services in 2015 following his most recent post as Construction Manager for Enbridge Energy within the USMLP Integrity Program. He enjoys spending time with his two daughters as well as working on anything with an engine.
Chris Gmahl: Superintendent
Chris graduated from Mayville State University in Mayville, North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration which included cognitive study in Psychology and Marketing/Merchandising. He has been working in the Highway Heavy and Energy industries for 33 years and has been supervising crews for 28 years. Chris worked for John Koski for two years prior to the API acquisition of the company and passion lies within taking on difficult or challenging projects and giving them a shine.
